This year, in addition to making blog posts about the stuff I consumed, I’m adding this one, my favourite photos I took this year.

Two things happened in 2024 that dominated my photo collection. We adopted 2 kittens, and we went to Japan. These are the things cameras are made for.

My 2025 Photo Library

I’m still using Lightroom to organize my library. In 2025, I kept 675 photos. In 2024, I kept 1641 photos. But I went to Japan in 2024. You just keep more photos if you go to Japan.

And of course, most of these are photos of the cats. With that in mind, I’m breaking this down into two categories: photos of Asuka and Rei, and general photos.
