Shift was a Canadian music and culture magazine. This is an issue from 2002, a year where my heart still keeps a summer cottage.
The gimmick of the issue is that the whole thing is one giant list of items. This makes my desire to organize go brrrr.
Oh man, remember exploding dog?
Some items are given full spreads. Some items are given a paragraph. But everything in the issue gets a number. People, art, and websites are recommended alongside one another. It’s just a nice big show and tell exercise. I miss stuff like this. That feeling is why I created this series.
