Hanako’s January issue is cat-themed. The whole thing is just about cats. It’s amazing.
You really feel the joy coming off the photoshoots. It’s infectious and bright. I love how the spreads play across lines. Nothing so serious and columnized here. We’re having a good time.
Of course, I’m blown away by the spread of the apartment that’s framed as a blueprint for the same apartment.
Even in the case where there are columns, the artist plays with the perception. Column, left-side of a book, right-side, column. Fun.
