As I was flipping through 100 Boyfriends by Batcities, a comic love letter to 100 Boyfriends by Alice Longyu Gao, i was impressed by the texture and how alive and punk each image is. I loved the texture.

And then I got to the end of the end, where the artist brown down how they make their art. This is the good stuff. Sketching, scanning, overlays. The use of computers as a middle step between paper drawing and a physical book, not the beginning or end.
