The Recommendation zine is underrated as an act of love. As I flipped through “If You Liked Nirvanna The Band the show the movie you’ll like…” I saw three recommendations I knew, and three I didn’t. That’s a perfect balance.
I love photocopied handwritten zines. I didn’t appreciate them enough without the contrast of billionaire algorithms with no fucking taste. But thankfully they’re still there, at kiosks at cons, in wallets waiting to be shared. Thank you.
