How hard is it to photograph food?
At first, I thought okay, they cut out the plate and then decided what background fill to use. But then I looked a little closer. These backgrounds are tablecloths. The photographers chose this colour before shooting. The whole page is the photograph. All of this is real.
The more I looked at it, the more I liked it. And like, I just want to appreciate here for a second how many tablecloths were used in this shoot, and how well they were colour-matches to the plates and food.
Features like this remind me that the more real something is, the more our eyes like it.
