See previously: Streaming and Selecting Music
If you’re a little bored with whatever music algorithm you use, the best thing you can do without leaving your computer is go one bookmark over and listen to internet radio. Most stations offer hyperlinks to the music they’re playing, so you can add them to your own libraries or buy them. And most sound pretty good.
- Flood FM. Fairly mainstream but curated well.
- Monocle Radio. a mix of talk radio and music. World pop.
- Radio Garden. Spin the globe and find local radio stations around the world.
- Vintage Obscura. Crowd-sourced rarities.
- Poolsuite. Cute website. Beachy.
- Soma FM. One of my first internet bookmarks. Indie Pop Rocks still feels right.
- NTS. One of my most recent bookmarks. All over the place. Impeccable vibes.
I’ll update this list as I hear about any more good ones.
